Description	:	William C. Hubbard was born at Audubon, Iowa, Febr. 20, 1860 and departed this life, Febr. 25, 1932, being 72 years and 5 days of age. At the age of about 23, the deceased came to Nebraska,locating at Knoxville. On May 22, 1887 he was united in marriage to Kate F. Wells at Knoxville. To this union were born five children, J. Clark, Katie Maurie, Delbert Amer, Burton George and Marjorie Harriett. While the deceased had been a patient sufferer for many years, his last serious illness was of short duration. At the age of about 23, the deceased came to Nebraska,locating at Knoxville. On May 22, 1887 he was united in marriage to Kate F. Wells at Knoxville. To this union were born five children, J. Clark, Katie Maurie, Delbert Amer, Burton George and Marjorie Harriett. While the deceased had been a patient sufferer for many years, his last serious illness was of short duration. He united with the Methodist Episcopal church many year ago and lived a faithful Christian life until the end. Left to survive him and lament his passing, besides the widow are two children, Burton G. and wife of Jacksonville, Fla. and Marjorie H. McCann and husband of Omaha, three granddaughters; one brother, James E. of Ekalaka, Mont., two sisters, Julia Strain of Ekalaka and Jennie Rice of Portland, Ore. besides many nieces and nephews, as well as a host of friends. He was a quiet industrious, honest and trustworthy man of the type of which the woof and fiber of the nation is built, though other may acquire more of the limelight and fame. Funeral services were held from the Lynch M.E. church Tuesday afternoon, conducted by the old family pastor, Rev. M.E. Richmond of Almo, Nebr. The floral tributes were many and beautiful.
