Bredhtauer was born to Henry and Cecile (Daily) Bredthauer June 19, 1926 at Ord. Mr. Bredthauer received his education at Scotia and was a Scotia High School graduate. He then trained in car sales and was a car salesman for a number of years. In January of 1950, he married Alyce Jacobsen at Scotia. Bill later worked as an over the road semi-truck driver. He worked as a chef in Omaha for the past 16 years, including the past 14 years at the Elks Club in Omaha. He also operated his own private catering service in Omaha. He enjoyed raising flowers, gardening and yard work. He is survived by one son, Bruce of LaVista and one daughter, Cynthia Heedum of LaVista.
