OBITUARY: The Cumberland News ( Cumberland, Maryland), Tuesday, July 3, 1956 – Page 6 MT. LAKE PARK – William Floyd Lowdermilk, 76, died Sunday in Garrett County Memorial Hospital. He was born in Sang Run, a son of the late James and Sophranie (DeWitt) Lowdermilk. Mr. Lowdermilk was a miner by trade and had worked in and around Crellin the past 30 years for the Kendall Lumber and Stanley Coal Company. He was a member of the Pentecostal Church, Sang Run, and United Mine Workers. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Estella (Sisler) Lowdermilk; four step-children, Melvin Sisler, Mt. Lake Park; Don and Mayl Sisler, both of New Brunswick, N. J.; and Miss Maudie Sisler, Mr. Lake Park, and two adopted children, Mrs. Della Blaystone, Pa., and Albert Conner, McKeesport, Pa. The body is at the Bolden Funeral Home, Oakland. Services will be held today at 2 p.m. at the United Pentecostal Church, Rosedale by Rev. Ralph Jack. Interment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, near Sang Run. (Transcribed by Ronn E. Friend)
