Boucher Dead Pneumonia Causes Death of Old Resident of Albion William Francis Boucher, a resident of Albion for 30 years, died at 8:30 this morning at his home of pneumonia following a short illness. Mr. Boucher had been confined to his bed nine days. Mr. Boucher was born in Hancock County, Kentucky, and came to Illinois with his parents, settling near Sterling in 1852. He was united in marriage at Sterling, to Susan Maduska Robins, who died at Ottumwa in 1886. Later Mr. Boucher came to this city, where he took Mrs. Delilah Davis as his second wife on June 4, 1888. After making their home here for a short time, Mr. and Mrs. Boucher moved to Albion, where they have since made their home. Mr. Boucher was a veteran of Company D, Thirty-fourth Illinois infantry, serving eighteen months during the Civil War. Charles Eckles was captain of his company. He was discharged from service at Chicago. Mr. Boucher is survived by his wife and two children of the first marriage, George Boucher of Albion, and Mrs. F.M. [Ida] Cougill, of Des Moines. Two brothers, Thomas Boucher of Rock Falls, Illinois, and Lewis Boucher of Mingo also survive. Funeral services from the Friends' Church at Albion, burial in the Albion cemetery.
