He came with his parents to Nebraska in 1881, the family settling east of Ohiowa. In February, 1910, he moved with his family to Geneva, Neb., residing there until November, 1926. Read More	BLANKE, WILLIAM HENRY—William Henry Blanke was born June 29, 1879, at Peoria, Ill. He departed this life at Lincoln, Neb., March 25, 1942, at the age of 62 years, 8 months and 25 days. He came with his parents to Nebraska in 1881, the family settling east of Ohiowa. In February, 1910, he moved with his family to Geneva, Neb., residing there until November, 1926. Since then he made his home at Lincoln and Seward, Neb. February 22, 1906, he was united in marriage to Viola Mussman. To this union were born three children, Dora of Omaha, Henry and Lula of Geneva, who with three grandchildren, Henry Jr., Janice, and Jackie Blanke, one daughter-in- law, Mrs. Henry Blanke, one sister, two brothers, one half-sister, and two half-brothers, survive. The funeral was held at the Kritner funeral home in Geneva at 2 p. m. Saturday, March 28. Rev. Phil B. Wahl officiated. Appropriate music was furnished by Mrs. W. H. Hinkle and Miss Ione Rischling, with Mrs. John Kroll as accompanist. Pallbearers were A. W. Schropfer, A. A. Russell, George Pickerill, Ed. McCluskey, Chris Olsen, and Ted Murrell. Interment was in the Geneva cemetery. The Nebraska Signal April 2nd, 1942 page 7.
