Description	:	William Henry Laschanzky was born November 22, 1894. With the exception of two years previous to his marriage, he has always lived in the house where he was born. On October 4, 1922, he was united in marriage to LaVerna Wright, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. I.B. Wright. To this union three children were born, Jennievieve Maxine, 15 years of age; LaVonne Florence, 11 years old; and Darrel Dean, 7. Read More	William Henry Laschanzky was born November 22, 1894. With the exception of two years previous to his marriage, he has always lived in the house where he was born. On October 4, 1922, he was united in marriage to LaVerna Wright, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. I.B. Wright. To this union three children were born, Jennievieve Maxine, 15 years of age; LaVonne Florence, 11 years old; and Darrel Dean, 7. Mr. Laschanzky was sick only about three weeks, the last week of which time he was seriously ill. The sickness and death were caused by a tumor at the base of the brain. This was the report of the autopsy and that it would have meant instant death had an operation been attempted. He passed quietly away on Sunday evening March 19, lacking three days of being 44 years and four months of age. Mr. Laschanzky was a man of cheerful disposition. He leaves to mourn his departure, his wife and three children; mother, Mrs. Henry Laschanzky of Fairmont; four brothers and four sisters, Gus of Fairmont, Mrs. Clara Eichstedt of Grafton; Earnest of Fairmont; Mrs. Sophie Oates of Exeter, Mrs. Olga Hurst and Mrs. Alice Wildman, of Hollister, Calif. Henry L. of Chester and Harry of Grafton. Also other relatives and a host of friends. Funeral services were held at the home on Thursday afternoon, March 23, with Rev. Isaac Cassel of Fairmont Federated church officiating. Oliver Moul, a friend and neighbor, sang two solos. The pallbearers were Curtis Roper, Henry Domeier, Albert Lott, Dick Storm, John Hildebrandt, and Lou Moul. Interment was made in the Fairmont cemetery.
