Description	:	Ernest Frederick Laschanzky, son of Henry and Sophie Laschanzky was born September 15, 1887, on a farm near Fairmont, Neb. He departed this life February 12, 1951, in his home in Fairmont at the age of 63 years, 4 months and 12 days. On March 20, 1912, he was united in marriage to Grace Alberta Van Patton of Grafton. To this union were born three children, Carl Ernest of Lincoln, Neb., Glen Gilbert and Pauline Henrietta Kelch of Fairmont. He is survived by his wife, children, five grandchildren, also three brothers and four sisters, Gus of Fairmont, Clara Eichstedt and Harry of Grafton, Sophie Oates of Exeter, Olga Hurst of Hollistter, Cal., Alice Wildman of San Mateo, Cal., and Henry of McCool Junction. His father, mother and one brother, William preceded him in death. He was a devoted father and always willing to assist those who needed help. His familiar for seen so many years in the community will be greatly missed. Funeral services were held at the Kritner Funeral Home in Fairmont at 2 p.m., Thursday, February 15, Rev. Willard F.
