Description	:	William Sherman Barnett, son of Francis R. And Phoebe Jane Barnett was born August 22, 1866 and died June 16, 1943 at his home north of Eddyville, at the age of 76 years, nine months and 25 days. He was united in marriage to Rosella Culbertson March 31, 1897 to this union were born three children, one having preceded him in death. Surviving is a daughter, Mrs. William Whalen and a son, Wayne Barnett, both of this vicinity, also three grandchildren. And Phoebe Jane Barnett was born August 22, 1866 and died June 16, 1943 at his home north of Eddyville, at the age of 76 years, nine months and 25 days. He was united in marriage to Rosella Culbertson March 31, 1897 to this union were born three children, one having preceded him in death. Surviving is a daughter, Mrs. William Whalen and a son, Wayne Barnett, both of this vicinity, also three grandchildren. In an early age in life he united and was baptized into the Christian church at Eddyville, where he had held steadfast all his life. He will be greatly missed in the vicinity as a loving husband, father and neighbor. His entire life was spent in this neighborhood. Besides the wife and children he is survived by two brothers, George Barnett of Van Wert and J. R. Barnett of Eddyville. Funeral services were held from the Christian church Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock with Rev. W.H. Hagedan officiating. Burial was made in Highland cemetery.
