Read More	RETIRED WATERMAN DIED LAST TUESDAY William Wiley Parks Passed Away At The Age Of 82 WAS WELL-KNOWN ON ALL PARTS OF BAY Mr. William Wiley Parks, a well known retired waterman of this city died at his home on Myrtle and, Potomac streets last Tuesday night. While he had been in failing health for sometime he was confiried to his bed for only four days. He was 82 years of age. Mr. Parks was the son of the late Jesse Parks and Helen McCoy Parks of Holland's Island, where he was born and lived until 27 years ago when he moved with his family to Crisfield and has made his home here from that time. In his younger days Mr. Parks was one of the outstanding watermen of the community and was well known on all sections of the Chesapeake Bay, where he had sailed for many years. Of a kindly disposition, helpful when opportunities presented themselves, he had made many friends to whom the news of his death came as a great shock, although his health had been declining in his latter years, suffering from complications. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Rose McCoy Parks, a son, William Ethridge Parks, of this city, and two daughters, Mrs. Nellie Todd and Mrs. Bessie Todd, also of Crisfield. Five grandchildren also survive. Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock, from his home. conducted by his pastor, Rev. Melvin E. Wheatley.
