Sigg, 94, of Dorothy Love Retirement Community, Sidney, Ohio, passed away at Dorothy Love Retirement Community on Monday, March 30, 2015, at 5:40 p.m. after a brief illness. She was born Nov. 29, 1920, in Defiance, Ohio, the daughter of Edward and L. Faye (Rethmel) Stock and they are deceased. She was married to Sylvin Sigg on June 23, 1945 and he passed away on Oct. 28, 2003. She is survived by five sons, 14 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; and one brother. She was married to Sylvin Sigg on June 23, 1945 and he passed away on Oct. 28, 2003. She is survived by five sons, 14 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; and one brother. Two sisters, Wanda Stock and Mary Lou Schultz, and three brothers, Darwin, Barton and Millard Stock, are deceased. Mrs. Sigg attended Bowling Green State University and St. Francis College in Fort Wayne, Indiana. She was a retired kindergarten teacher with the Antwerp Schools, Antwerp, Ohio, and a member of the State Retired Teacher's Association. She was of the Methodist faith. Memorial services will be held on Friday, April 10, 2015, at 1 p.m. at the Amos Chapel at Dorothy Love with Chaplain Larry Oberdorf officiating. Burial will be at a later date at Evansport Cemetery, Evansport, Ohio. Memorial contributions may be made to the Dorothy Love Life Care Fund, 3003 W. Cisco Road, Sidney, Ohio 45365. Envelopes will also be available at the memorial service. Salm-McGill and Tangeman Funeral Home in Sidney is handling the funeral arrangements.
