A memorial has been established to the Alzheimer's Foundation. Mrs. MANNING was born Aug. 10, 1919, in Jefferson County, the daughter of John and Mae Lee HUDSON. In 1944, she married Carl B. KIGER, who died in 1961. She married Elmer MANNING in 1970 (sic. Dec. 31, 1970). He died in 1987. She had lived in the Audubon Friendship Home for the past five years and before that in the Fairfield and Ankeny communities. She had been employed at Fairfield Glove Co. and J.C. Penney Co. She was a member of American Legion Auxiliary, VFW Auxiliary and the Eagles. Surviving are two sons, Dean of Audubon, Dennis of Coon Rapids; five grandchildren; three sisters, Eva BROWN of Winfield, Pauline MEYER of Wayland and Irene THOMAS of New Broomfield, Mo.
