Mrs. Mineart was born April 10, 1930, in Pomeroy, the daughter of Hye and Catherine Wall Wiemers. She graduated from Pomeroy High School and received an associate degree in teaching from University of Northern Iowa at Cedar Falls. On May 31, 1951, she married William Maurice Mineart of the Brighton/Pleasant Plain area. He died June 12, 1983. She had been a school teacher at Grasshopper Green/Kenwood Schools in Annandale since 1976. She was associated with the North Virginia Youth Symphony. Surviving are two daughters, Cynthia Sinsap of Bangkok, Thailand, Cherie Mobasherie of Iowa City; two sons, Maurice Anthony of Lorton, Va., William Mark of Annandale; nine grandchildren; three brothers, Walter and Raymond Wiemers, both of Pomeroy, and Charles Wiemers of Escondido, Calif.
