Description	:	Winifred Johnson, daughter of Andrew Anderson and Bertha Price Anderson, was born near Ruskin, Nebraska, on November 8, 1901. She passed away at the Fillmore County Hospital in Geneva, Nebraska, on June 16, 1988, at the age of 86 years, 7 months and 8 days. Winifred attended the Oak public school and was baptized in the Oak Community Church. She had been a member of the United Methodist Church in Davenport, Nebraska, for 35 years. Read More	Winifred Johnson, daughter of Andrew Anderson and Bertha Price Anderson, was born near Ruskin, Nebraska, on November 8, 1901. She passed away at the Fillmore County Hospital in Geneva, Nebraska, on June 16, 1988, at the age of 86 years, 7 months and 8 days. Winifred attended the Oak public school and was baptized in the Oak Community Church. She had been a member of the United Methodist Church in Davenport, Nebraska, for 35 years. She was married to William Ficken in 1922. Four children were born to their marriage. In 1938 she was married to Erick Johnson. Two children were born to their marriage. She has lived in Ruskin for two years, the Oak and Edgar communities for 53 years and the last 31 years she has lived in Davenport, Nebraska. Winifred loved to quilt and crochet. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands, William and Erick, two daughters and one sister, Lena Swanstrom. Survivors are two sons, Wilfred and his wife Cleora Ficken of Davenport, Nebraska, Wilbert and his wife Jackie Ficken of Hebron, Nebraska; two daughters, Mrs. Howard (Wyona) Wagner of Bruning, Nebraska, Mrs. Allen (Ellen) Bongers of Brainard, Nebraska; four brothers, Clark Anderson of Superior, Nebraska, Bert Anderson of Edgar, Nebraska, Charley Anderson of Nora, Nebraska, and Bill Anderson of Superior, Nebraska; one sister, Mrs. Frank (Mabel) Korbelik of Nelson, Nebraska; 20 grandchildren and 30 great grandchildren. Funeral services were Sunday, June 19, 1988, at 2 p.m. from the United Methodist Church in Davenport, Nebraska. Rev John Nellessen officiated. Wanda Tegtmeier and Georgia Keim sang "In The Garden." Holly Schoming was the organist. Casketbearers were Gary Wagner, Martin Ficken, Roger Ficken, Larry Ficken, Jeffrey Ficken, John Bongers, Joel Bongers, Henry Kramp, Howard Kramp, Harold Kramp, Harry Kramp. Interment was in the Edgar Cemetery at Edgar, Nebraska. Urbauer Funeral Home of Davenport, Nebraska, was in charge of arrangements. The Nelson Gazette, Thursday, June 23, 1988; pg. 3
