Miss Gannon was born in Ulysses, on the 31st of March, 1891 and has just passed her seventeenth birthday. Gannon, of Ulysses, had been in the city for the past ten days doing all that loving care could suggest for her relief, but death ended her suffering. Funeral services were held at the Catholic church yesterday morning at 6 o'clock, and the remains were shipped to her former home at Ulysses over the B.& M. Miss Gannon was a general favorite with both teachers and pupils at the academy, and her familiar face will long be missed by her schoolmates and friends. ``````````````` Peoples Banner (David City, Nebr.), April 9, 1908, p. 5, col. 3 Ulysses Winnie, the seventeen year old daughter of Patrick Gannon, died at the Columbus hospital of typhoid fever, Monday, after a three weeks illness. Her parents recently went to see her but as she became better they returned home. Neither her parents or relatives were present at her death. The young lady is well known here and the parents have the sympathy of the entire community.
