Description	:	Wuebka Gardles was born May 23, 1864 in Madison county (sic), Illinois, and departed this life May 7, 1957 at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Carl Comstock in Nelson, Nebr., where she had made her home since 1952. She lived on this earth 92 years, 11 months and 14 days. In infancy she was baptized in the Lutheran faith. She was a member of the American Lutheran church (sic) at the time of her death. Read More	Wuebka Gardles was born May 23, 1864 in Madison county (sic), Illinois, and departed this life May 7, 1957 at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Carl Comstock in Nelson, Nebr., where she had made her home since 1952. She lived on this earth 92 years, 11 months and 14 days. In infancy she was baptized in the Lutheran faith. She was a member of the American Lutheran church (sic) at the time of her death. At the age of twenty years she was united in marriage to Henry Janssen in 1884 in Otoe County, Nebr. They moved to Gage county (sic) where they lived six years. One year of that time they ran a post office. From Gage county (sic) they moved to the state of Washington, where they lived one year. In 1902 they moved to a farm near Nelson, Nebr. Mrs. Janssen was preceded in death by her husband and one son, Bernard Benjamin. She leaves to mourn her passing her children, William F. Janssen, Mrs. Lulu Ritterbush and Mrs. Ella Comstock, all of Nelson, Herman Alfred Janssen of Allendale, Mo., Fred E. Janssen of Seattle, Wash., and Mrs. Ann Skinner of Edgar, Nebr., also nine grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and many other relatives and friends. Mrs. Janssen was a patient sufferer and kind to all who made her acquaintance. She has always been open hearted and free in helping all in need. She will be greatly missed by those who knew her. Funeral services were held at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon in the Klawitter funeral chapel at Nelson, with the Rev. Mr. Lincoln Justice, officiating. Burial was made in the Nelson cemetery (sic).
