Description	:	This cemetery is about one hundred feet south of Bryant Cemetery. People over the years have called these two cemeteries as the Bryant/Rutherford/Martin Cemetery. While they are on the same hill in section 30-15-30, they are clearly two seperate cemeteries. The Bryant Cemetery was here before the Rutherford/Martin Cemetery. I thank Luginbuel Funeral Home for having the GPS for this cemetery site. It has been confused with the Rutherford Cemetery in Prairie Grove AR. There is also a third cemetery called the John Westley Rutherford Cemetery. This cemetery is also in West Fork AR. John Westley Rutherford was the son of John A Rutherford,and is buried on his father's home farm in Section 28-15-30. John A Rutherford was buried here because his wife was a Martin. She lies buried here with her husband and relatives. Now there has been a issue of a cemetery deed for this cemetery. The story was that a John W Robinson was suppose to have recorded a deed but never did. This is not true. The deed is found in Washington Co Deeds Book 155-336.John W Robinson to Charles C and John Roy Robinson. It states,in part, "There is reserved ,in this deed, all the land contained in the present boundaires of the cemetery,and all timber rights on same....". On the 23 rd of January 1915,Charles C Robinson deeded his half interest in the property to John Roy Robinson,found in Book 181-432. The same paragraph on the cemetery was placed in this also. Charles and John Roy Robinson were sons of John W Robinson. So the cemetery {s} remained in the Robinson name. John W Robinson had obtained this property from A V Rieff,who obtain it from the original owner ,Arhibald Henty Bryant,who's family lie buried here. These are my ancestors buried here! There are nine marked graves and about twenty-thirty unmarked graves.
