Description	:	What began as Saint Mary's Chapel is currently known as Our Lady of Mount Carmel Chapel. Originally, Saint Mary's Chapel was located on the Irnham Estate in Irnham. In the 1850's, the Catholic owners of the estate decided to sell but could not find any other buyer other than Protestants. The new owners generously let the Catholics move their chapel to Corby Glen. Masons were hired and each stone was marked and moved. The church and the cemetery are located on the corner of High Street and Irnham Road.
