Description	:	In the mid-19th century, ordinances passed by the Borough of West Chester prohibited burials within the incorporated limits of the borough. All denomination burial grounds, including that of Saint Agnes Catholic Church, were relocated to cemeteries outside of the borough. However, in 1962, special dispensation was made in one case — that of the Right Reverend Monsignor Henry Clement Schuyler, V.F., S.T.L., LL. D., pastor of the Saint Agnes Church from 1919 until his death in 1962. Monsignor Schuyler had to seen the building and expansion of a new Saint Agnes Parish, and so he was granted the sole right...
