Their home was always... Read More	Obituary Mrs. Addie E. McCurdy, mother of Officer Alexander McCurdy, of Mill Valley, passed away at the home of a daughter in Berkeley, Sunday, February 3. Bolinas in Marin County had been her lifelong home. She was born in Wisconsin, but at 6 years of age, she came with her parents, the late Hugh I. Ingram and Mrs. Ingram to Marin. Here they settled at the head of Bolinas Bay, being among the earliest pioneers in this region. When she reached maturity, the daughter became the wife of the late Samuel McCurdy. Their home was always maintained in Bolinas, and to them came 3 sons and 4 daughters; Alexander McCurdy of Mill Valley where he is chief of police; Hugh McCurdy of San Rafael, an officer in state traffic; Mrs. F.D. Bullock, and Mrs. E.L. Soule of Berkeley; Mrs. E.R. Strain of Palo Alto; and Mrs. Arthur Bourne of Bolinas. Mrs. McCurdy was 73 years of age at the time of her passing. The past 15 years she had spent with the daughters in Berkeley, where she became deeply beloved by many friends. She was a woman always devoted to home and family and friends and was numbered among the best of mothers. Funeral services were held Wednesday morning at the "Little Chapel of the Flowers" in Berkeley and interment with committal services took place in Bolinas, in the afternoon.
