Klein on March 2, 1946, in Wyoming. The couple farmed near Stanwood. Agnes was a member of St. John’s United Church of Christ, Cedar County Saddle Club and ARC. She and her husband were instrumental in starting the special education school in Cedar County. Agnes enjoyed following politics,watching ballgames, gardening and spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived and lovingly remembered by her husband. Melvin Klein, and their children, Melanie and husband Leroy VanRoekel of Wilton, Brenda Klein of Muscatine and William and wife Robyn of Kalona. She is also survived by a brother, Elmer and wife Betty Petersen; a sister-in-law, Virginia Petersen; a granddaughter, Ashley Klein; grandsons Jason and Mark VanRoekel and Adam Klein; as well as several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Katricia; and a brother, Fr
