The first name for what could be the father is used in the memorial as "Davis", rather than the "David" in Alvin's obituary. The first name of what could be his mother is "Catharine" in the memorial, rather than "Catherine" in Alvin's obituary. Direct links are made to them from this memorial, but the names should be used with some caution. -------- Husband of Margaret L Reed, married February 20, 1900 in Fairfield, Iowa. -------- Special note: The names of certain children in the obituary for Alvin P Harper vary from other sources. As of December 23, 2011 all but four of 13 children of Alvin and Margaret Harper are accounted for and linked with relationship links. Four children have proven to be elusive, even using Ancestry.com for searches for their whereabouts: Davis R "Dave" Harper, Robert M. Harper, Rex W. Harper, and Evelyn Harper Shaffer. Any information on these four (missing DOB's, DOD's, and burial locations) would be greatly appreciated. Certain entries have been found on Ancestry that could be for some of them, but there isn't enough information to be conclusive, let alone telling where they are buried.
