| Description | : | Ann Charlotte Petermeier was born Aug. 7, 1898 at rural Baxter to Fred and Caroline Schnathorst Petermeier, the second of eight children. She attended Malaka No. 4 school. She married Otis Dodd March 31, 1923, at the home of Otis' uncle and aunt, Fred and Julia Dodd in Marshall County. They lived in the Baxter and Marshalltown areas. Ann was a member of the Congregational United Church of Christ and a former member of the Friendly Neighbors Club. She died on Saturday, Feb. 15, 1999, at Oakview Nursing Home in Conrad.
