Description	:	Ann Larson, 90, formerly of 1124 Avon Street in Stratford, Iowa passed away at the Stratford Nursing and Rehab Center in Stratford on Monday morning, November 3, 2008 where she had been a resident since April of 2007. She was born on December 22, 1917 in Woden, Iowa the daughter of John and Grace (Ahlfs) Stohr. On February 4, 1939, she was united in marriage to Harold Larson. Read More	Ann Larson, 90, formerly of 1124 Avon Street in Stratford, Iowa passed away at the Stratford Nursing and Rehab Center in Stratford on Monday morning, November 3, 2008 where she had been a resident since April of 2007. She was born on December 22, 1917 in Woden, Iowa the daughter of John and Grace (Ahlfs) Stohr. On February 4, 1939, she was united in marriage to Harold Larson. Harold passed away on September 21, 1962. She married Ernest Anderson in September of 1976. He passed away on June 5, 1982 In 1942, Ann and her husband Harold moved from Buffalo Center to Stratford where they owned and operated the Stratford Locker for a number of years. Ann loved to be in her large yard and tend to her flowers and enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Ann was a member of the Stratford Lutheran Church. Her parents; husbands Harold in September of 1962 and Ernest in June of 1982, and 3 brothers; Harry, Vernon and Edward preceded her in death. Survivors include 2 daughters Donna Carlson and husband Arnie of Stratford, Iowa; Carol Bonnstetter and husband Harry of West Bend, Iowa; 2 sons Larry Larson and wife Jeannie of Gladstone, Illinois, Donald Larson and wife Joanna of Ann Arbor, Michigan; 11 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; 1 sister Lois Carlberg of Stratford, Iowa; 1 brother Elmer Stohr of Forest City, Iowa; and numerous nieces and nephews. Services will be held on Friday morning, November 7th at 10:30 a.m. at the Stratford Lutheran Church in Stratford, Iowa with Pastor Joe Lambert officiating. Interment will in the Oakwood Cemetery north of Stratford. Friends may call at the Stratford Lutheran Church on Thursday evening from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., with the family present during that time to greet friends. Visitations will continue at the Church on Friday morning from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service. Those wishing to express their sympathies through a memorial may direct their memorial gift to the family for a memorial to be determined at a later date.
