Primm, was born March 30, 1909 near Norwood, Iowa. She passed away November 8, 1971 at the Lucas County Memorial Hospital at the age of 62 years, 7 months and 9 days. Anna grew up on the home farm and attended school at Norwood. She also attended college at Cornell in Mt. Vernon. After working in Des Moines for several years as a secretary, she was employed in Chicago, Ill., where she met her husband, Ludwig Diamond. After their marriage they moved to South Bend, Ind. where she was employed at the National Bank and Trust Co. until illness necessitated her retirement. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ludwig, her mother and father, and one sister, Ardys Eaton, all of Lucas County. Surviving to mourn her passing are one brother, Gerald Primm of Lucas, and one sister, Mrs. Eleanor Sones of El Centro, Cal. Also one brother-in-law, Harry R. Sones, and one sister-in-law, Nora Primm. She also leaves 7 nieces and nephews and 14 great-nieces and nephews. She enjoyed the cultural advantages of the city, including plays and concerts, but was always very happy to come back to the peace and quiet of her girlhood home. Funeral services were conducted at the Miley Funeral Home in Chariton, with the Rev. R. Ronald Ritter officiating. Burial was in the Norwood Cemetery.
