Ashby Primm. He passed away at the Westview Care Center in Indianola on Wednesday, July 11, 1988, at the age of 80 years, 9 months and 17 days. Gerald and Nora Alice Williams were united in marriage on September 11, 1940 at Keytesville, Mo., and to this union two children were born, David and Patti. Gerald spent all his life on the home place which is a "Century Farm." In his youth he played baseball and continued to be an avid follower of the game. He farmed all his life and took pride that he was the third generation to work the land that he loved so much. In 1985 they retired and moved to Indianola where they have since made their home. Preceding him in death were his parents and two sisters, Ardys Eaton and Ann Diamond. Suriving him are his wife Nora of Indianola, his son David and wife Linda of Ravenswood, Mo., daughter Patti Abild and husband Kim of Indianola, a sister, Eleanor Sones of La Mesa, Calif., and four grandchildren, John and Heather Primm of Ravenswood, Mo., and Pamela and Anne Abild of Indianola. Funeral services were held at the Fielding Funeral Home at 1:30 p.m., Wednesday, July 13, 1988 with the Rev. Silas Andersen officiating. Serving as bearers were Joe Bahr, Harold Eaton, Virgil Storm, Larry Snuggs, Richard Easton and Donald Crawford. Interment was in the Norwood Cemetery.
