Only relatives and a few friends were present. They were attended by Miss Edna and Joe Ellingson and Mr. and Mrs. A.P. Schneider, old residents of this vicinity. The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Schneider and a most estimable young lady with a large circle of friends and acquaintances, having held a clerical position in the County Clerk's office for several years. Mrs. Ellingson is well known to our people, having grown to manhood in Knox County, his parents being early settlers in the vicinity of Center. Darcy (Ellingson), who passed away at Lundberg Memorial Hospital on Thursday, Aug. 1 at the age of 73, were conducted Saturday morning at St. Ludger Catholic Church with the Rev. Malvern Weise officiating. Interment was in St. Ludger Cemetery. Pallbearers were Alfred Fuchtman, Joe Manion, Leonard Wortman, Merle Waldow, Francis Anderson and Herb Klosner. Anna Schneider, daughter of Frank and Margaret Schneider, was born Oct. 6, 1883 on a farm near Bazile Mills. She was married to Nels Ellingson of Center on June 28, 1907. To this union were born a daughter, Mrs. Margaret Hart of Omaha, who survives and a son, William who died infancy. Mrs. Ellingson was preceded in death by her first husband. She was married to John Darcy Jr. on Jan 20, 1921 and to this union was born a son, Paul, who survives. Mr. Darcy passed away on Dec. 9, 1955. Mrs. Darcy is also survived by a brother, Jos. N. Schneider of Creighton and a sister, Mrs. John Duras of Denver, Colo. ...The Creighton News 8 Aug 1957
