Description	:	The Lenox Time Table Thursday October 22, 1970 Anna Elizabeth Leigh, daughter of Charles E. and Elizabeth Stephenson Leigh, was born at La Prairie Center, Illinois, Aug. 24, 1875, and passed away quietly at the Clearview Home in Clearfield, Iowa, at the age of 95 years, 1 month and 20 days. She was the youngest of eleven children, all of whom preceded her in death. She taught several school terms in rural schools of Marshall County, Ill. Read More	The Lenox Time Table Thursday October 22, 1970 Anna Elizabeth Leigh, daughter of Charles E. and Elizabeth Stephenson Leigh, was born at La Prairie Center, Illinois, Aug. 24, 1875, and passed away quietly at the Clearview Home in Clearfield, Iowa, at the age of 95 years, 1 month and 20 days. She was the youngest of eleven children, all of whom preceded her in death. She taught several school terms in rural schools of Marshall County, Ill. She moved with her family to Iowa in 1900 and continued teaching in rural schools in Taylor County. On February 17, 1909, she was united in marriage to William F. Bruner. They resided on the farm southwest of Clearfield until the death of her husband in December, 1940. They attended the Methodist Church in Clearfield as long as their health permitted. She, with her sister, Mrs. Alma Murphy, moved to Clearfield. Aunt Anna cared for her sister, Alma, as long as her health permitted. In 1963, she entered Clearview Nursing Home where she resided until her death. Aunt Anna was very happy in the Clearview Home and enjoyed the many friends who called. She is survived by nieces and nephews and a host of friends by whom she will be greatly missed-especially her friends in the home in whom she was always interested.
