Description	:	Anna Reimers (1922 - 1994) Anna Reimers was born January 24, 1922, the daughter of Johann and Emma Rehmke Reimers. She died at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska on Wednesday, May 4, 1994 at the age of Seventy-two years. Anna was born on a farm north of Schleswig where she grew up and received her education in Otter Creek schools No. 3 and No. 4 near her home. Read More	Anna Reimers (1922 - 1994) Anna Reimers was born January 24, 1922, the daughter of Johann and Emma Rehmke Reimers. She died at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska on Wednesday, May 4, 1994 at the age of Seventy-two years. Anna was born on a farm north of Schleswig where she grew up and received her education in Otter Creek schools No. 3 and No. 4 near her home. After completing her education, she remained at home and helped her parents until their retirement to Schleswig in 1962. She was a devoted christian and a life long and faithful member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Schleswig where she was baptized in Christ May 28, 1922 and confirmed in the Lutheran faith on April 2, 1939. In her leisure time, Anna enjoyed television and music and in younger years enjoyed children. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, John in 1984 and one sister, Hilda Schau in 1983. Survivors include two sisters, Elsie Reimers of Schleswig, Lucille Ress and her husband, Emil of Manning; two nieces and six nephews. Funeral services were held at 10:30 A.M., Saturday, May 7, 1994 at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Schleswig, Iowa with Rev. Donald Wagner officiating the service and grave side rites held at the Morgan Cemetery in Schleswig. Marlene Hight provided the organ accompaniment for congregational hymns "I Know That My Redeemer Lives" and "Lord, Take My Hand and Lead Me." Pallbearers were: Freddie Jepsen, Ronald Schau, Darcy Reimers, Merlin Schau, Allen Reimers and Gary Schau. The Huebner Funeral Home in Schleswig was in charge of arrangements.
