Longsine, daughter of John and Lillie Quinn, was born on a farm south of Oxford, September 15, 1892, and passed away at the Oxford Hospital, July 15, 1977, at the age of 84 years and ten months. Longsine, daughter of John and Lillie Quinn, was born on a farm south of Oxford, September 15, 1892, and passed away at the Oxford Hospital, July 15, 1977, at the age of 84 years and ten months. She was united in marriage to Robert D. Longsine, who preceded her in death in 1964. To this union four children were born. Of her six sisters and four brothers, only Joe Quinn of Oxford survives. Anna and her husband lived their lives in the Stamford, Beaver City and Oxford communities, most of the time on farms. She experienced the hardships of pioneer life, but used those experiences to live a most rewarding life as a devoted wife and loving mother. She is survived by her four children: Jerry of Las Vegas, Nev., Nellie Parsons of Oxford, Robert of Oxford and Des Moines, IA, and Richard of Oxford. Also mourning are grandchildren Mrs. Paul (Sherry) Larson of Wichita, KS, Mrs. Scott (Cindy) Haussler of Arapahoe, Mrs. Patrick (Patty) Dunn of Sioux City, IA, Susan Longsine of Fort Lupton, CO, Jay Longsine of Las Vegas; three great-grandchildren, other relatives and many friends. Funeral services were conducted from the Mitchell-Nelson Funeral Home, Oxford, July 19, 1977, with Rev. J. Clyde Fowler officiating. Music was furnished by Linda Knipping and Beulah Fish. Pallbearers were Lee Longsine, Paul Larson, Scott Haussler, George Quinn, Howard Quinn and John Quinn with interment in the Stamford Cemetery. Arrangements were directed by the Mitchell-Nelson Funeral Home, Oxford.
