Burial was in the I.O.O.F. cemetery. Anna Maria Rauch, daughter of John J. Rauch and Caroline Dolch was born in Ichenheim Baden, Germany, Jan. 7, 1871. She was baptized and confirmed in the Evangelical church at the place of her birth. Emigrated to America She came to this country in year 1887. On Jan. 22, 1890, she was married to John A. Stoker in St. John's Lutheran Church in Lincoln township by the Rrev. A. Graffelmann. She joined that church. Mrs. Stoker had lived in or near Victor the past 54 years and departed this life suddenly Wednesday afternoon, Jan. 31, at the age of 74. She leaves her children, Charles M. Stoker of Deep River, Mrs. Emelia Fruendt of Guernsey, Mrs. Louise Herzberg of Victor, John Stoker, Jr., Walter Stoker and Mrs. Anna Holley of Brooklyn and Harold W. Stoker of Memphis, Tenn., 13 grandchildren of whom two are in the service; two great grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. Emma Meyer of St. Charles, Mo. Her husband and one daughter, Mrs. Emma Mohr, and an infant son, Arnold, also three brothers and three sisters preceded her in death.
