Ring of this city, passed away at her home in this city Monday, January 11, at 5:00 o'clock as a result of an attack of influenza after an illness of ten days. The funeral services will be held at St. Gregory's Catholic church at 9:30 this (Thursday) morning, conducted by the pastor, Rev. August Redecker, after which interment will be made in the Catholic Cemetery here. Anna Mary Rombeck was born in Kenosha, Wisconsin, October 19, 1885, and was 70 years, 2 months and 22 days old at time of death. She came to this county in 1880 and on January 24, 1881, was united in marriage to Peter Ring. To this union nine children were born, five daughters and four sons, and of these four have preceded her in death, viz: Christian, who died in infancy; Anna, at age of 10; Elizabeth, in 1918, and Frank A., who was a soldier in the recent war and was killed in action on October 17, 1918. Mrs. Ring lived with her family on a farm in Elm Creek township for many years following her marriage coming to Marysville about four and one-half years ago and has made her home here ever since. Besides her husband she is survived by two sons and three daughters, Mrs. Frank Bach, Custer, Okla.; Herbert J., Mrs. Ernest Seematter and Will J., of this city and Mrs. Ed. Creevan, Axtell. Deceased will be mourned by a wide circle of friends. She was numbered on the roll of the Gold Star mothers who had suffered bereavement in war and her splendid qualifications as wife, mother, neighbor and friend had won for her the admiration of not only all who knew her in her former location, but of all the people of this city who had learned to appreciate her worth. She was a splendid women in every sense of the word and in extending sympathy to the sorrowing relatives the Advocate-Democrat voices the feeling of all of the people of this community. ---
