Description	:	OBITUARY - The Advocate-Democrat, Marysville, KS Herbert J. Ring Sr., 91, died Wednesday, May 2 at the Marshall County Nursing Home. Services were conducted Saturday morning from St. Gregory's Catholic church with the Rev. George Bertels officiating. Burial was in St. Gregory's Cemetery and arrangements were by Kinsley. Pallbearers were Raymond Ring, Jr., Roger Ring, Stanley Ring, Paul Ring, Gilbert Bruna and Ronald Bruna. He was born Jan. 3, 1893, at Marysville, the son of Peter and Anna Ring. He was born Jan. 3, 1893, at Marysville, the son of Peter and Anna Ring. He married Anna Seematter Oct. 20, 1915, and they were parents of five sons and two daughters. He spent his life farming until he retired and moved to the present home in Marysville in 1947. He was a member of St. Gregory's church. Preceding him in death were his wife on June 20, 1961; a son, Herbert Ring Jr.; four brothers; and two sisters. Survivors are his children, Raymond J. Ring, Frankfort; Justin P. Ring, Salina, Rose Bruna, Hanover, Frank Ring, Marysville, Aaron Ring, Fort Collins, Colo., Carol Hering, Anaheim, Calif.; 19 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; and two sisters, Ida Seematter and Lena Creevan.
