Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 1 p.m. Monday at Holy Spirit Church in Carroll, with the Rev. Richard Ball officiating. Military services will be by the Maurice Dunn Post No. 7, American Legion, Carroll. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery under the direction of the Twit Funeral Home, Carroll. Mr. Feld, son of Joseph and Catherine Wilden Feld, was born on Dec. 3, 1916 in Carroll County. He was the first person baptized at St. Lawrence Church in Carroll. He received his education at St. Lawrence School. His marriage to Velda Meyer took place on Nov. 3, 1940 at St. Lawrence Church in Carroll with the Rev. Poe officiating. He served in the U.S. Army in Korea, India, China and Burma. He was employed as a woodworker for the Heider Manufacturing Company for 38 years. He was a member of the Maurice Dunn Post No. 7, American Legion, Carroll. Surviving are his wife, Velda, and three brothers, Joseph of Sherman Oaks, Calif., Roy of Waukesha, Wis. and Walt of Wichita, Kan.; a sister, Mrs. Robert (Alvera) Strong of Bay City, Mich., nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Ray, Marvin, and Linus, and a sister, Helen.
