Description	:	Stratford Courier October 1929 Mrs. Alfred Rose Augusta Josephine Larson was born in Veinge-fors, Halland, Sweden, Nov. 2, 1860, and passed to the great beyond Wednesday morning October 2, 1929, at the age of 68 years, 11 months. At the age of nineteen she came to this country and located in Des Moines, where she made her home until Nov. 21, 1900, when she was united in marriage to Alfred Rose, of Stratford. Read More	Stratford Courier October 1929 Mrs. Alfred Rose Augusta Josephine Larson was born in Veinge-fors, Halland, Sweden, Nov. 2, 1860, and passed to the great beyond Wednesday morning October 2, 1929, at the age of 68 years, 11 months. At the age of nineteen she came to this country and located in Des Moines, where she made her home until Nov. 21, 1900, when she was united in marriage to Alfred Rose, of Stratford. To this union two children were born, one son, Harold, who passed away at the age of two years, and one daughter, Mrs. Helen Sandegren, of Des Moines, who with the husband and father, one sister, Mrs. Lundberg, of Staples, Minn., and many other relatives and friends are left to mourn her departure. She was a kind and loving wife and mother and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran church in Sweden and became a member of the local Lutheran church in 1901, of which she was a true and faithful member until her death. Funeral services were held in the Lutheran church on Saturday afternoon and were conducted by the Rev. Ekeberg, of the Dayton Lutheran Church. Interment was made in Oakwood Cemetery. Those from out of town who attended the funeral were: Mrs. Emma Sorrick and son, Mrs. Gust Burkman, Mrs. John Moody, Mr. and Mrs. Flodeen, Misses Mildred Johnson and Ruth Rose, all of Des Moines; Mr. and Mrs. Gust Carlson and daughter, of Ogden; Mrs. Ida Anderson and son, David, of Harcourt; Mr. and Mrs. Eric Anderson and Eric Heedwell of Madrid; Mr. and Mrs. G. Heedwell, of Boone; Mr. and Mrs. R.E. Sandegren, of Grimes.
