Rogers in Holdrege, Nebraska and to this union, five children were born: Rosemary, William, Debbie, David and Connie. The family made their home in Harlan County, NE until moving to Holdrege in 1977, where Barb was employed by Holdrege Memorial Homes. She retired from there in 1989. Barbara loved her family. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She also loved to play Bingo where she lived with several residents and friends. The day she passed away, she won twice and was very happy that she made fifty cents. She was a very kind and loving person, who will be missed by many people. She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, DeWayne, Melvin and Ronnie Kimberly, and one granddaughter, Barbara Mae Rogers. She leaves to mourn her passing her husband LeRoy of Holdrege; daughters, Rosemary Thompson and her husband Rick of Solon Springs, Wisconsin, Debbie Wilson and her husband John of Holdrege, Nebraska, and Connie Rogers and her husband Tim of Holdrege, Nebraska; two sons, William "Willie" Rogers and his wife Kathy, and David Rogers all of Holdrege, Nebraska; nine grandchildren: Wesley, Jennifer, John, Ronnie, Justin, Stephanie, Angie, and two grandchildren from her oldest daughter; 11 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Larry Kimberly and his wife Arleta of Holdrege, Nebraska, and Robert Kimberly of Oxford, Nebraska; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, extended children and friends.
