The Rev. Berry McCready officiated. Interment was in Asbury Cemetery at nearby Lawsonia. Born in Crisfield, she was a daughter of the late Sidney Bates and Margaret Nelson Lawson. Her husband, Orace McCready died in 1945. She was a member of Mariners United Methodist Church.
