Pallbearers were Todd Hake, Thomas Hake, Timothy Hake, Lee Doncheske, Lance Doncheske, Leslie Doncheske and Christopher Hake. Mrs. Hake died Friday, December 17, 1982 at the Howard County Community Hospital, [St. Paul, NE]. She was born November 25, 1900, in Saline County to August and Augusta (Burkhardt) Butt. She was educated in Saline and Merrick counties. She married John Hake January 9, 1921 at Palmer. They farmed in Merrick County. Mr. Hake died in 1979. Mrs. Hake was a charter member of the St. Paul's Lutheran Church and St. Paul's Ladies Aid. Survivors include two sons, LaRoy of Eureka CA and Weldon of Palmer; one daughter, Mrs. LeRoy (Loris Ann) Doncheske of Palmer; three brothers, Helmet, Fritz and Otto Butt of Central City; one sister, Hannah Butt of Palmer; 16 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Preceding her in death were her parents, one infant son and one infant granddaughter.
