Description	:	Bertha Hawley Bertha Hawley, 82, of 548 W. Spring, died 11:20 p.m. Monday in St. Rita's Hospital after an extended illness. Born May 24, 1889, in Rocky Grove, Pa., she was the daughter of Charles and Mary Jones Sanford. Her husband, Alexander J. Hawley, died April 23, 1949. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church and its WSCS. She also was a member of the Golden Age Club and of Senior Citizens Center. She is survived by one son, Wayne E.
