The family's surname was originally Kjeldsen but at some point, part of the family dropped the j from the name and changed it to Keldsen. Birgitte and Jacob made this change, but it is believed the other brothers and sisters stayed with Kjeldsen. ___________________________________________ St. Paul Woman Dies ST. PAUL (Special Dispatch)-- Mrs. T. J. Nelsen, 84, a long-time resident of St. Paul, died Sunday morning at her home. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the First Presbyterian Church in St. Paul by the Rev. Ronald E. Buskirk. Burial will be at Elmwood Cemetery. Survivors include her husband; five daughters, Mrs. Ray D. Arnold, Iowa Falls, Ia., and Mrs. N. M. Paul, Mrs. E. G. Anderson, Miss Edna Nelsen, and Miss Helen Nelsen, all of St. Paul; two sons, Howard E. Nelsen, Indianapolis, Ind., and Donald E. Nelsen, New York City; a brother, Kay Keldsen, in Denmark; 12 grandchildren and six great grandchildren. The McIntyre-Jacobsen Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
