She was born in Stokes County on January 25, 1925 to the late Robert Eugene (Bob) and Minnie Orela Boyles Gordon. Mrs. Cain was a retired Co-Owner of Bonnie Boo Beauty Shop and served as an Elder, Sunday School Teacher, belong to Womens Circle and was a member of Hills Presbyterian Church. She was born in Stokes County on January 25, 1925 to the late Robert Eugene (Bob) and Minnie Orela Boyles Gordon. Mrs. Cain is survived by two daughters, Jeanne Edwards of Charlotte and Carol Lawson of Greensboro; one grandson, Eric Rosenquist of Greensboro; three sisters and brother-in-law, Jacquelyn Sams of Pinnacle, Helen Sue Kirst of Orlando, Fla. and Nancy (Robert) Poore of Roanoke, VA. She was preceded in death by her husband and parents; three brothers: Rex Gordon, Vance Gordon, and Bobby Gordon. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, January 27, 2011 at Hills Presbyterian Church at 11:00 A.M. with the Rev. Mandy Santolla and Rev. Jeannie Hemrick officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the memorial service and at other times at Mrs. Cain's home at Jessup Grove Church Road, Pilot Mountain, NC, 27041. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hills Presbyterian Church, C/O Kathryn Martiant, PO Box 1722, Pilot Mountain, NC 27041.
