Mr. Cain was born in Surry County on April 19, 1924, to the late Samuel Jonas and Ada Mae McKinney Cain. Moses was a retired farmer, a sportsman who loved to hunt and fish, and a member and former deacon of Hills Presbyterian Church, Pilot Mountain. Read More	PILOT MOUNTAIN, NC ~ Mr. Moses Samuel Cain, 78, the husband of Bonnie Gordon Cain, of Jessup Grove Church Road died Monday morning, June 10, 2002, at the Northern Hospital of Surry County, Mount Airy. Mr. Cain was born in Surry County on April 19, 1924, to the late Samuel Jonas and Ada Mae McKinney Cain. Moses was a retired farmer, a sportsman who loved to hunt and fish, and a member and former deacon of Hills Presbyterian Church, Pilot Mountain. Surviving are his wife of 55 years, Bonnie Gordon Cain of the home; two daughters, Jeanne Cain Edwards of Charlotte and Carol Cain Lawson of Greensboro; a grandson, Eric Rosenquist of Greensboro; a sister and brother-in-law, Ollie and Garrell O. Hunter of Pilot Mountain. Mr. Cain was preceded in death by three sisters, Minnie Cain Cain, Ester Cain Bennette, and Novella Cain. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 12, 2002. at the Hills Presbyterian Church by Dr. Leighton Culler. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church immediately following the memorial services and at other times at the Cain home, Jessup Grove Church Road, Pilot Mountain. Memorials may be made to Hills Presbyterian Church Cemetery Fund, c/o Carol Lawson, P.O. Box 1720, Pilot Mountain, NC 27041. The Cox-Needham Funeral Home and Chapel in Pilot Mountain is in charge of the funeral arrangements.
