Read More	Glasco Sun, Sept. 11, 1919, page 1: BRUCE DAVIDSON FATALLY INJURED Neck Was broken in Fall Last Thursday Afternoon The community again received a severe shock Thursday when it was learned that Bruce, the 16 year old son of Mr. L.F. Davidson, was killed in a very peculiar accident that afternoon. The lad had gone to the barn to harness a mule, and had succeeded in getting the animal harnessed with the exception of the bridle, and it is thought that he stepped on a little pile of boards under the harness rack in order to reach the bridle, and in doing so, the boards either slipped or he lost his balance and came down, catching his chin in the bridle and breaking his neck, death resulting instantly. Bruce was a bright young fellow, and was a "regular man" on his father's farm where he spent most of his time when not in school, and we most sincerely condole with his bereaved father, brother and sister over their overwhelming loss. Funeral services were held at the home Tuesday afternoon at 3 o'clock, conducted by Rev. Phillip, Christian church, and burial was made in the Glasco cemetery, beside the grave of his mother, who died but a few months ago.
