Mass of the Christian burial will be Tuesday, May 5, at 10 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Auburn, with the Rev. William Carel officiating. St. Mary Alter Society rosary was at 2:30 today, and the parish rosary will be at 8 tonight at Huffman Memorial Chapel in Lake City. Burial will be at St. Mary's Parish Cemetery in Auburn. Survivors include her daughters; Mabel Schug of Auburn, Drusilla Abney of Buda, Texas, Coletta Mohr of Varina, Ethel Drees of Taopi, Minn., and Marietta Sammons of Lidderdale; her sons: Leonard Daiker of Zapata, Texas, Cornelius Daiker of Auburn, Ivan Daiker of Onamia, Minn., and Warren Daiker of Churdan; a sister, Mildred Janning of Kasson, Minn.; 56 grandchildren; 97 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John Daiker; two sons, John B. and Leroy Daiker; an infant daughter, Ila Mae; four brothers and two sisters. Mrs. Daiker was born Dec. 27, 1896, near Breda and was a lifelong resident of the Auburn area. She was the daughter of John and Mary Schulte Thelen. She attended area schools. On Oct. 14, 1914, she married John Daiker at Mount Carmel. They had five daughters and six sons.
