Catherine was born Dec. 5, in Atchison, the daughter of Thomas Joseph and Ida Helena Molt Gormley. She attended Eden Grade School and St. Louis Grade School. She and Harold Lawless were united in marriage on Feb. 22, 1941, at St. Louis Church in the Good Intent Community. Mr. Lawless preceded her in death on Oct. 23, 1946. She and Claude Greiveldinger were united in marriage on Aug. 26, 1950, at Sacred Hear Church in Atchison. MRs. Greiveldinger preceded her in death on June 24, 1971. Catherine was employed at Atchison Hospital in the housekeeping department for twenty-years until her retirement in 1981. She was a member of Sacred Heart Church, V. F. W. Auxiliary, enjoyed playing cards with her sister and spending time with her grandchildren. Survivors include two daughters, Lucy Marie Hayes, Muscotah, and Nancy Kay (John) Horton Atchison, a brother, Gerald Gormley, Reserve, Six grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren, three step great-grandchildren and four great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Elizabeth Blasi and Anna Mary Anslinger, a brother , Leo Gormley and two grandchildren, Fred Hayes and Salley Hayes.
