Description	:	Charles Elmer Jones, 84, passed away Sunday at the Sunset Manor Rest Home in Columbus where he had been a patient for five months. He had been in failing health for some time and recently had suffered several slight strokes. In 1907 he was married to Margaret Allen at Deering, N. D. Read More	Charles Elmer Jones, 84, passed away Sunday at the Sunset Manor Rest Home in Columbus where he had been a patient for five months. He had been in failing health for some time and recently had suffered several slight strokes. In 1907 he was married to Margaret Allen at Deering, N. D. They moved to Montana after their marriage, first residing at Bainville. A short time later they came to Sweet Grass county residing on the lower Sweet Grass on the old Becken ranch. They also lived at West White Beaver, the former Patterson ranch on Sweet Grass at Glasston, the fair grounds, and then purchased the McAllister ranch. The family moved to Big Timber 22 years ago and Mr. Jones had made his home here since. Mr. Jones, a stone mason, was active at his trade until about two years ago. Mrs. Jones preceded him in death Dec. 20, 1953. Survivors include three sons, two daughters, and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
