Description	:	The fourth of thirteen children born to Tilghman & Elizabeth (Fretz) Reis. He came to Nebraska from Tippecanoe County Indiana and engaged in farming. He married Margaret Pruella "Ella" Sharp. Children were: Paul Addison, Rufus France* later chaged to Rufus Ralph, Glenn George, Elza Raymond "Elgie", and Truman Charles. Services will be Tuesday at 1:30 pm from the Congregational Church of Liberty for Charles Henry Reis, 90, long-time Liberty resident, who died Friday morning at a Beatrice hospital. CHARLES H. REIS Charles H. Reis was born October, 17, 1858, and died March 19, 1949. He came to Liberty in 1881 and was married to Margaret Pruella Sharp on January 1st, 1890. To this union were born six sons, one of whom, died in infancy. Surviving are Paul A. Reis, Rufus R. and Elza R. of Lincoln, Glenn G. of Summerfield, Kas. and Truman C. Reis of Kemah, Texas. Also surviving are three brothers: Will Reis of Hastings, Francis of Papillion and Addison of Richfield; nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren. He was baptized as a member of the Liberty Baptist church in 1888. Services were held at the Congregational church in Liberty and burial wa in Liberty cemetery. The grandsons were pall bearers.
