Description	:	Charles Robert Gibson, son of Hugh and Henrietta Gibson, was born at Fairmont, June 20, 1884 and died at the Brewster hospital in Holdrege, Mary 15, 1946 at the age of 61 years, 10 months and 15 days. In 1893 Charles came with his parents to Edison when a la of nine years and with them moved on a farm northeast of Edison which has been his home for the past 53 years. Read More	Charles Robert Gibson, son of Hugh and Henrietta Gibson, was born at Fairmont, June 20, 1884 and died at the Brewster hospital in Holdrege, Mary 15, 1946 at the age of 61 years, 10 months and 15 days. He engaged in farming for 41 years. Charles was a faithful son, assuming the responsibilities of caring for his parents. He was highly respected by those who knew him and will be greatly missed. He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers,. Those remaining to mourn his passing are his sister, Mrs. Nola May Wilson of Edison; six brothers, John Wallace and Arthur A. of Oxford; William Edgar of San Francisco, Calif.; Henry Hugh, of Scottsbluff Nebr.; Harvey of Edison and Ray of Salinas, Calif.; an uncle, Jim Gibson of Trenton, Nebr. , besides many other relatives and a wide circle of friends. Among the many from out of town who attended the services were, Jim Gibson of Trenton, Mr. and Mrs. Orville Deselms, Wray, Colo.; Henry Gibson, Scottsbluff, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Gibson and Mr. and Mrs. Otto Ervin and daughter of Salinas, Calif.; Mr. and Mrs. Charles Prideaux of Beaver City, Mrs. Irvin Weatherwax and Wallace Gibson of Oxford and Mr. and Mrs. Walter Greims and daughter of Holdrege. GIBSON RITES HELD Funeral services for Charles Robert Gibson were held Thursday at the Christian church with Rev. L.L. Holmes officiating. Mrs. A.E,. Leopold was the soloist, accompanied by Mrs. T. W. French. The pallbearers were Orgil Girch, Abe Chapman, Marshall Fisher, C.E. Sprague, Floyd Deselms and Robert Shafer. Burial was in the Edison cemetery.
