Description	:	Henrietta McKinney was born in Gurnsey county, Ohio, May 27, 1853 and passed away at her home east of Edison, Nebr., Sunday morning , September 30, 1928 at the age of 75 years, 4 months and 3 days. She was united in marriage to Hugh Gibson at Empire Prairie, Mo., February 18, 1876. To this union 11 children were born, 8 of whom are still living. Mr. and Mrs. Gibson moved from Missouri to Fillmore county, Nebraska in 1880, living there until 1893, when they moved to Furnas county to the farm that has since been their home. Read More	Henrietta McKinney was born in Gurnsey county, Ohio, May 27, 1853 and passed away at her home east of Edison, Nebr., Sunday morning , September 30, 1928 at the age of 75 years, 4 months and 3 days. She was united in marriage to Hugh Gibson at Empire Prairie, Mo., February 18, 1876. To this union 11 children were born, 8 of whom are still living. Mr. and Mrs. Gibson moved from Missouri to Fillmore county, Nebraska in 1880, living there until 1893, when they moved to Furnas county to the farm that has since been their home. She accepted Christ when a girl of 13 and placed her membership with the Presbyterian church. However, a few years after coming to Furnas county, she transferred her membership with the Church of Christ at Edison, and was a faithful member until the Savior called her home. She is survived by her faithful and sorrowing husband; one daughter, Mrs. Nola Wilson, of Edison; seven sons, Wallace of Stamford; Arthur, Charles, Harvey and Ray, of Edison; William, of Holbrook, and Henry of Beaver City. Frank died at the age of 3 years and Roy James dying in infancy. Also 29 grandchildren, 6 great grand children; two brothers, James McKinney of Wilsonville, Nebr., and Newton McKinney, of Springfield, Mo.; one sister, Mrs. Cora Bonham, of Hastings, formerly of Beaver City, and a great host of friends. Funeral services were held at the Church of Christ in Edison Tuesday, October 2, at 2 p.m., conducted by the pastor, Rev. A.F. Motter. Interment was made in the Edison cemetery. - Edison Echo
