Description	:	C. W. Goldsborough Dead Well-Known Crisfield Citizen Dies in South Charles W. Goldsborough, a well-known resident of the Asbury section of Crisfield, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. John M. Reynolds, in Madison, N.C., on Friday of last week. Death resulted from a complication of diseases with which he had been suffering for some months past. Mr. Goldsborough was 70 years of age and was the son of the late Charles and Sarah Goldsborough. Goldsborough Dead Well-Known Crisfield Citizen Dies in South Charles W. Goldsborough, a well-known resident of the Asbury section of Crisfield, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. John M. Reynolds, in Madison, N.C., on Friday of last week. Death resulted from a complication of diseases with which he had been suffering for some months past. Mr. Goldsborough was 70 years of age and was the son of the late Charles and Sarah Goldsborough. He was born in Wisconsin but moved to Delaware with his parents, in childhood, and when a young man located in Crisfield. He was a gentleman of high character, a consistent Christian and was held in high respect by all who knew him. He was an active member of Asbury M.E. Church, with which he had been connected for many years. The remains were brought to Crisfield for burial and services were held Sunday afternoon from his late home, with Dr. W.F. Corkran officiating, and interment was in the Nelson family burying ground. The deceased is survived by a widow who was the daughter of the late David and Julia Ann Nelson, and the following children: Robert H. Goldsborough, Charles W. Goldsborough, Mrs. Alonzo Evans, Mrs. Albert S. Longbottom, Mrs. John M. Reynolds, Mrs. Clifton Rayfield and Miss Mayme Goldsborough of West Chester, Pa., and Mrs. Mary Riddell of Philadelphia.
