S. Crowthers a native of Bedford tp., died at the age of 99 years, one month and 26 days. She spent her unusually long span of life in Bedford and Perry tps. This county. She was born Nov. 7, 1833, a daughter of the late Samuel and Dorcas (Cullison) Fry. She married Ephram Crowthers in 1852. Her husband died 20 years ago. Despite her advanced age Mrs. Crowthers was in good health until a week ago. She was a member of the Wilson Chapel church 80 years. Mrs. Crowthers is survived by the son at whose home she died: a brother, Stanton Fry of Howard. OH: four grandchildren: 19 great grand-children and five great great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday. Rev. W. M. Freer of Mohawk will have charge. 99 years 1 month 27 days. The Coshocton Tribune, Saturday 5 November 1932. Mother 99, and Son 79. To Celebrate Birthdays Monday will be an unusual day the the Crowthers farm on Route 2, near Nellie. Mrs. Lottie Crowthers, one of the oldest residents in Coshocton co., will observe her 99th Birthday. Active, she expects to pass the century mark. her son Dick, born on his mother's birthday, will observe his 79th anniversary.
